Friday's Historic Trans Am Race Action
Experience the thrill of the Historic Trans-Am Series as it inaugurates the Ten Tenths Motor Club's state-of-the-art circuit with its first-ever sanctioned race. On Friday, April 4, from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., witness practice and qualifying sessions, followed by feature racing at 2:30 p.m. This event showcases legendary muscle cars from the late 1960s to early 1970s, offering a nostalgic nod to America's racing heritage and the perfect way to kick off the Heritage’s weekend celebration of all things automotive.
Friday's Celebrity Pro-Am Benefiting Speedway Children's Charities
At 6 p.m. on Friday, April 4, the inaugural Celebrity Pro-Am Race pairs amateur drivers with motorsport legends in a competition supporting Speedway Children's Charities. Notable professional drivers scheduled to compete include Jeff Gordon, Daniel Suarez, Tommy Kendall, Katherine Legge, Patrick Long, Max Papis, Kyle Petty, Scott Pruett, Boris Said and Scott Speed. A portion of the proceeds from this event support Charlotte-area children in need, making it a race with a cause. Professionals will be teamed with amateur drivers for timed laps around the circuit. Teams with the fastest combined lap times will advance each round.
Saturday's Third Annual Heritage Invitational Concours
On Saturday, April 5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., car enthusiasts are invited to marvel at an exquisite collection of over 65 vehicles at the Heritage Invitational Concours and awards ceremony. This carefully curated display features historically significant cars alongside the latest modern-day supercars, celebrating more than a century of automotive design and innovation. Cars will be judged by an expert panel of knowledgeable industry professionals, including lead judge Mark Moskowitz, before the awards ceremony at 1 p.m. In addition, owners and collectors will be on-site to share the stories of these amazing machines.
Saturday's Heritage Invitational Gala Honoring Alwin Springer
The festivities culminate with the Heritage Gala Dinner on Saturday evening, April 5, at 6 p.m. This elegant event honors Porsche Motorsports icon Alwin Springer and includes a fireside chat with Springer and Porsche racer and ambassador Patrick Long, offering attendees an intimate glimpse into Porsche's storied racing history.
