Expertise: American and European Automotive Design
Kip Wasenko spent his entire 40-year career – which he began as a summer intern in 1968 and included stints in the United States, Germany and Australia – with General Motors. He is credited with establishing Cadillac’s longstanding “Art and Science” design principle. Best known for designing the Cadillac EVOQ (XLR-V), the Cadillac LMP LeMans Prototype that raced LeMans 2000-2003 and the Cadillac CTS-VR, Wasenko was recognized by MotorTrend Magazine in 2005 as one of the industry’s most powerful people. Away from the design table, Wasenko enjoys road racing his Corvette and serving as a concours judge, which he’s done since 1985.
